Some people make the mistake of visiting the Cotswolds just for the day, but we recommend that you stay at least one night here. That way you'll see early mornings and evenings - two of the most romantic times of day, with glorious sunsets and beautiful early morning birdsong.
Staying overnight also means that you see more popular villages, you will avoid the crowds and have more chance to meet local people. Our hotels and B&Bs are great value compared to London. By the way, it’s also perfectly OK to base yourself in the Cotswolds and take a day trip to London! The area is an excellent base for touring, ringed by Bath, Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon, Cheltenham and Gloucester .
