Ellenborough Park is the Cotswolds' most critically-acclaimed luxury hotel. Gloucestershire’s only AA Five Star-rated property is nestled at the base of Cleeve Hill, overlooks Cheltenham Racecourse, and embodies traditional English stately glamour. Only two hours from London, the hotel provides 60 bedrooms and suites, outdoor heated pool, on-site gym, world-class spa and award-winning gourmet restaurants.
Set in 90-acres of stunning countryside, the property includes fascinating architecture and interiors by internationally-acclaimed designer, Nina Campbell. We are steeped in history with some parts of the property dating back to the 15th century.
There are two restaurants – The Beaufort, which is a more formal modern British-with-a-twist fine-dining option, and The Brasserie – a high quality, accessible menu in a relaxed environment. Both are overseen by Executive Head Chef, David Kelman, who has experienced the best year of his career following an appearance on BBC TV’s Great British Menu, winning Chef of the Year for the second year in a row, topped by his inclusion in a new celebrity cookbook.
The hotel understands that guests’ time is precious and offers to relax and unwind the restful and promote adventure for the restless. As an archetypal English country estate, many ‘royal’ activities are promoted including: polo, archery, and shooting. The property is in a supreme location for history lovers to sample ancient castles and quaint villages.
