Directions

Road Directions

From London or elsewhere in the south, take the M40 to junction 8, then the A40 towards Oxford/Cheltenham. Bypass Oxford, and continue towards Evesham and Woodstock. Stay on the A40 by taking the third exit at the Headington roundabout onto the North Way, then, at the large Wolvercote roundabout, take the fourth exit onto the A44, signposted to Woodstock.

Follow the A44 for about 35 minutes, through Woodstock and Chipping Norton, to Moreton-in-Marsh. At the mini-roundabout, turn left onto Moreton High Street and at the next roundabout turn right onto the A44, signposted towards Evesham and Broadway. Follow the A44 for about seven miles, then look out for the turn-off towards the Broadway Tower on the left and Saintbury on the right – the entrance to Farncombe Estate is half a mile further on the right. If you reach Broadway village, you’ve gone too far!

From Birmingham and the north, leave the M5 at junction 6, head south on the A4538 for 2 miles and then pick up the A44 south, signposted towards Evesham. After about 10 miles, bypass Evesham on the A46, following signs for Oxford. After 2.5 miles, turn left onto the A44 at the roundabout, signposted to Oxford and Broadway Tower. After about six miles, when you get to Fish Hill, look out for the entrance to Farncombe Estate on the left.

Public Transport Directions

If you’re coming by train, Foxhill Manor is just 14 minutes’ drive away from Moreton-in-Marsh station (90 minutes from London Paddington on the First Great Western route). Let us know what time you’re getting in and we’ll arrange a pick-up.

Arriving by helicopter? Feel free to use our helipad (coordinates: W150.32.18/ N522.4.12). Just let us know first! (And if you don’t have your own chopper but want to arrive in style, we’ll be happy to arrange one.)
