Museums

The Cotswolds area has a fantastic collection of museums, each with their own charm and character.

Our most charismatic museums include the Corinium Museum – full of Roman history and artefacts, Court Barn Museum which is dedicated to Arts & Crafts,  and Dr Jenner’s House – a place to learn about the history of vaccination and find the ghost in the attic….

Alongside the Cotswold Motor Museum (home to superhero TV star Brum), there are some brilliantly quirky museums on the Cotswolds - the sort of places that you put off until a rainy day and then leave enthused and inspired. The Toy Museum in Stow-on-the -Wold contains toys, dolls and bears to delight young and old, the Gloucester Folk Museum with it's 18th Century forge, and the Museum in the Park, Stroud are all places to spend a good few hours browsing, playing and learning.
