We love our traditional Cotswolds pubs and inns. Not only are they are steeped in history, but they also serve some sensational food, made with the finest local seasonal ingredients.

The Lamb Inn, Burford

Recently awarded a prestigious third AA Rosette for culinary excellence, The Lamb Inn's intimate restaurant is the place to indulge in seasonal plates of fine-dining food that celebrate the fantastic flavours of our local ingredients. The bar is packed with historic features and offers a wonderfully laid-back way to dine throughout the day, with its exposed beams and flagstone floors, cosy armchairs by the fire and cosy tables tucked away in the corner.


The Ebrington Arms

The Ebrington Arms is everything you’d imagine a village pub to be. It’s steeped in history, has a great atmosphere, is loved by the locals and serves excellent food made with only the finest local ingredients. The fact that it has been awarded 2 AA rosettes for the past 6 years is testament to the fantastic menus and cooking from the kitchen team, led by chef Sonya Kidney. They also brew their own range of ‘Yubby’ beers!


The Bell Inn, Selsley

This 16th century grade-two listed Cotswold Inn gives you a true taste of the Cotswolds, serving real ales, locally-sourced food and seasonal game. It’s easy to see why The Bell Inn is a new entry to the Michelin Guide UK, with menus showcasing the best of Britain with plenty of fresh, local produce and dishes that tip their hats to the seasons.


The Swan at Southrop

The Swan is the quintessential English country pub and is part of Thyme and the Southrop Manor Estate. It is known for creating exceptional seasonal dishes made from home-grown and locally produced ingredients, straight from the fields and kitchen garden to the plate, with menus changing daily based on what is fresh! Homegrown, homemade and produce driven, they aim to deliver an inspirational, sustainable and genuine dining experience.


The Wheatsheaf, Northleach

The Wheatsheaf is a traditional coaching inn in the delightful Cotswolds town of Northleach, known for its excellent regional food which is, wherever possible, local, seasonal and sourced from only the best suppliers in the area. The kitchen serves simple, rustic food without pretention, with the focus on flavour and generosity.


The Killingworth Castle, Wootton

Pub food with panache - this award-winning Oxfordshire inn, The Killingworth Castle or ‘The Killy’ (as it is affectionately known) has gone from strength to strength since being taken over by Claire and Jim Alexander in 2012. In fact it has gone on to a coveted Michelin Bib Gourmand and AA rosette for its food, cooked by chef Phil Currie and his team. They serve delicious, internationally influenced food made from the finest local ingredients, in a cosy country inn atmosphere, with roaring log fires and a warm welcome!


The Porch House, Stow on the Wold

Winner of the AA Pub of the Year for England 2016, The Porch House is thought to be England’s oldest inn and retains plenty of historical character with flagstone floors and oak beams, yet it has recently been restored with a fresh, contemporary feel. With three dining rooms, cosy nooks and open fires, there are plenty of options to enjoy the exquisite modern British dishes in an atmospheric setting. 


The Swan Inn, Swinbrook

An idyllic Cotswold inn on the banks of the River Windrush, in the lovely village of Swinbrook near Burford, The Swan Inn is known for its imaginative, seasonal dishes that are produced from some of the finest ingredients. The strong reputation they’ve established for their food is well-deserved and they are meticulous about sourcing ingredients from quality, local suppliers.


The King’s Head Inn, Bledington

Gloriously situated on a picturesque village green, The King’s Head Inn, believe in wholesome, hearty and traditional English food, served with a touch of flair and a spark of imagination. Winner of 2 AA Rosettes, Head chef Giles Lee cooks in an exciting and original way, using the freshest of ingredients and wherever possible, locally sourced and organic produce.
