Cotswold Grey is located on Moreton-In-Marsh High Street, the site has been traditionally occupied by an ironmongers shop, a history that goes back over 160 years. The previous proprietor, Ben Jeffrey, provided everything from a box of screws to a lawnmower service and the store thrived in the local community.
Changing times and demand meant that when Ben’s son, Simon, took over the site he decided to put his own stamp on it and provide an offering that would appeal to both the community and the thousands choosing to visit the Cotswolds each year. This change of focus involved incorporating a neighbouring property and major renovation work to create three stunning contemporary apartments and five thousand square feet of retail space.
Cotswold Grey was born, owing its name to a grey/green hue traditionally used to paint buildings in the region and the search began, and continues, for outstanding antique, contemporary and reproduction furniture, homeware and gifts.
