History comes hot-buttered at this quintessential 15thC Cotswolds Inn. Located in the picturesque village of Bledington and nestling on the village green, complete with babbling brook and ducks.
Prince Rupert of the Rhine supposedly lodged here prior to the Battle of Stow in 1642 and today, much of the old world charm of bygone year’s remains, with original old beams, exposed stone walls and an inglenook fireplace.
Delightful bedrooms are all en-suite with full facilities and thoughtful extras. There is a private Residents Lounge, Coffee Lounge and private Sun Patio.
The award-winning restaurant, offering 'personal inventive cuisine', is not to be missed (everything is prepared 'in house' and, where possible, is from local produce). There is also a fine selection of wines and real ales to choose from.
