Museums

Even those who are indifferent to cars are always charmed by the Cotswold Motor Museum, you can discover a love of mechanical music that you never knew you had, at Keith Hardings World of Mechanical Music in Northleach, and there are many more examples. The latest addition is Out of the Hat in Tewkesbury, an interactive museum.

As well as the Cotswolds Motor Museum there are some brilliantly quirky museums on the Cotswolds - the sort of places that you put off until a rainy day and then leave enthused and inspired. The Toy Museum in Stow-on-the -Wold contains toys, dolls and bears to delight young and old, The Corinium Museum in Cirencester with its collections of antiquities from Roman Britain, the Gloucester Folk Museum with it's 18th Century forge, and the Museum in the Park, Stroud are all such places.
