Surrounding a delightful 18th century manor house (not open) and Grade I listed 16th century Tithe Barn, this award-winning 3-acre garden positively fizzes with ideas. Featuring stunning herbaceous borders; imaginative topiary including a knot garden, parterre and topiary walk; water features; 18th century raised walk and a unique shade house. The mood is friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere tranquil yet inspiring.
The garden will continue to be under the care of long serving Head Gardener Paul Nicholls and his assistant Jacky Rae. We hope many of our regular visitors will return in 2010.
HHA/Christie’s GARDEN OF THE YEAR 2006.
Tea/coffee and home-made cakes available throughout the season.
