Plan Your Accessible Visit to the Cotswolds
Accessibility Guides
We’ve worked with AccessAble to offer detailed access information for hotels, attractions, restaurants, shopping areas, and other points of interest in the Cotswolds on their individual listings, helping you plan your ideal trip with ease.
Several of the business listings on our website also include links to their independently produced AccessAble pages, offering information on everything from parking and physical access to inside facilities like toilets, reception areas, or hotel rooms. You can find these links by scrolling to the Accessibility section on individual listings or by clicking on the ‘Accessibility Facilities’ tab.
AccessAble has also put together a full Cotswolds guide, including accessible routes for walking around picturesque villages and towns, and much more.
Mobility Equipment Hire
For daily or long-term hire of mobility equipment such as mobility scooters and wheelchairs, the Cotswolds Shopmobility service is available. It is based in several locations across the region, including in Cheltenham and Cirencester. Please check with the locations directly for availability and updates before your visit.
Accessible Public Toilets
You can find your nearest accessible public toilet in the Cotswolds via the local council websites. There are also numerous public Changing Places toilets available across the area, designed for visitors with more advanced needs. These facilities include hoists, changing benches, curtains, and extra space for carers. Use the provided map to locate these amenities during your visit.
