Lords of the Manor is an historic manor house, located in the quaint Cotswold village of Upper Slaughter near Bourton on the Water and Stow on the Wold.
Privately owned for 17 years, Lords of the Manor has always put guests at the forefront of all that they do. Their team is adept at delivering exceptional service, there is no comparison to other stays you may have had elsewhere. It’s not difficult to see why they were recently named as the Good Hotel Guide’s Best Hotel with Gardens; set in 8 acres of lawns and grandiose gardens, this Cotswold hotel dates back to 1649 and the honey coloured stone of the manor instantly evokes nostalgia for decadent pastimes – without compromising on modern comforts.
The hotel has 26 luxury bedrooms, with beautiful feature views of the gardens, the village of Upper Slaughter and the surrounding Cotswold hills, each of the rooms in our charming Country House Hotel are individually furnished and decorated, making them the only space you need during your getaway.
Perfectly situated in prime Cotswold country, you can explore all that the region has to offer. Lead in hand and faithful companion in tow, you can embark on a gentle walk or acquaint yourself with nearby Cotswold villages and indulge in some retail therapy. With a plethora of events and National Trust properties on your doorstep, you will soon see what makes the Cotswolds such a special place to visit, and why many visitors wish to call it their second home.
