The Barrel Store breaks the mould of what you’d expect from a hostel.

Beautifully warm Cotswold stone on the outside, whilst light, airy inside. The Barrel Store is well-appointed with beautiful craft features throughout.

From locally made warm woollen throws to wrap up in, to artisan-made chairs and light shades, this is a hostel which makes the most of its association with craft charity New Brewery Arts next door to create a hostel with a real difference. 

Brilliantly located, right in the centre of Cirencester, The Barrel Store has all of the amenities you need on your doorstep – pubs, restaurants, shops and museums – but is quiet and peaceful with no through traffic to disturb you. 

As well as being a perfect location for exploring Cirencester and the Cotswolds, an area of outstanding natural beauty, The Barrel Store is also a great base for those coming to New Brewery Arts to take part in the hundreds of workshops they offer each year, so why not take a short, creative break. 

With a mix of single, double, and family rooms, (most en-suite), The Barrel Store also has a self-catering kitchen/lounge area.

For those who don’t want to self-cater New Brewery Arts’ Café serves great coffee and a delicious lunch menu and Cirencester’s many pubs and restaurants are just on the doorstep. What’s more with space for up to 44 guests The Barrel Store is available for exclusive hire – perfect for large get-togethers and special occasions.
