Pinkney Court has now added 2 holiday cottages to our guest accommodation, encouraged to do this by enthusiastic guests falling in love with our local area and wanting to stay for longer periods to maximise their excursions.
In the 1920s Pinkney Court was owned by Captain Maurice John Kingscote, MFH , he was a British Polo Champion and his polo ponies and those of the British Team were stabled in these 2 cottages. His Grandson is a great family friend and has been instrumental in helping us turn Pinkney Court’s beautiful gardens back into the designs his Grandparents had. We are very lucky to have him on hand to ask historical questions about the house that we would never discover in books, and ensure that we keep this much loved family house as traditional as possible for generations to come.
