Road Directions

From London: Take the M40 north leaving at Junction 8. Follow the A40 to Oxford and Burford. Turn right at the roundabout into Burford. After crossing over the bridge take the first turning off the roundabout on the A424 Stow Road. After about eight miles turn left at the traffic lights onto the A429. In one mile, turn into Lower Slaughter. As the 'S' bend straightens out on entering the village, The Slaughters Manor House is on the right. From North and East Midlands: Take the M40 south, leaving at Juntion 15. Following the A429 south to Moreton-in-Marsh then Stow-on-the-Wold. Approximately three miles after Stow, turn right into Lower Slaughter. As the 's' bend straightens out on entering the village, The Slaughters Manor House is on the right. From Heathrow: Take the M25, direction Oxford/Watford jto Junction 16, M40 exit. Follow directions from London. From Gatwick: Take the M23 direction to London and Heathrow airport. Turn onto the M25 direction Heathrow. Pass the Airport, turn off M25 Junction 16, M40 Oxford exit. Follow direction from London.

By Train: There is a direct service from London Paddington to Moreton-in-Marsh. There is then a taxi service or Pulhams bus to Bourton-on-the-Water.
