Wild Carrot is an exciting eco adventure tour company based at Manor Farm Barn on the astounding and historic Chavenage House estate.
Chavenage has more than 2000 acres of countryside, surrounded by many popular local tourist attractions such as Highgrove House. It is no surprise that the exquisite Elizabethan estate is the go-to film location for many period dramas including Barry Lyndon, Cider with Rosie, Dracula, Lark Rise to Candleford and Poldark.
Hidden in ancient woodland with uninterrupted views of the rolling Cotswold hills, each Wild Hut has been individually designed and placed with privacy and luxury in mind.
Surrounded by wildlife, you will wake to the dawn chorus, walk or cycle through the woods to explore the beautiful open countryside and return to your own private sanctuary on the estate. Falling asleep to the sound of wind rustling through the trees with the only tweets coming from the owls.
You will have your own cedar wood-fired hot tub, the perfect place to view the stars on winter evenings or sooth the muscles at the end of the day. The famous and stunning Macmillan way runs through the estate, you can walk or cycle to Westonbirt Arboretum, the Royal Beaufort Polo or Castle Combe.
Ideal for all year round stays, there is a wood burner, extra warm duvet and plenty of blankets to ensure a cosy sleep.
En-suite facilities, a quirky outside shower, an honesty bar, stove and BBQ are all included to make your stay as easy and comfortable as possible.
If you feel like room service, our concierge delivers delicious food and drink so you can relax and have a luxurious, quiet night in. From brilliant adventures to romantic log fires beneath the stars, Wild Carrot is the perfect place to escape and create special long-lasting memories.
We believe the best way to explore the Cotswolds is on two wheels. Complimentary bicycles are ready and waiting for you to enjoy throughout your stay.
Wild Carrot is committed to sustainable tourism, we plant a tree for each booking to offset the carbon used during your stay and we donate our profits to various local rewilding projects to increase bio-diversity.
