Celebrate Christmas on the Santa Express
Christmas is approaching as fast as an express train for the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway (GWSR), which is fully prepared with tickets for its popular Santa Express services now on sale.  The trains run from the end of November at weekends as well as 21, 22 and 23 December.  Trains run from Cheltenham Racecourse to Winchcombe - renamed ’North Pole’ - and the railway has planned additional attractions at the station as well as family opportunities to chat with Father Christmas.

Christmas at Newark Park
Get into the festive spirit with Newark Park’s Little Helpers trail in the run up to Christmas.  From Friday-Sunday in November and December, have fun exploring the garden spotting 5 cheeky deer helping get ready for Christmas.  The house will be dressed for the festive season and there’ll be carol singing from local choirs from 11-12 on December 2nd and 16th.  The tea pavilion has an excellent selection of hot drinks to warm you up after a wintry walk too.

Christmas at Dyrham Park
Dyrham Park will be decorated with wreaths and greenery to create the setting of a 17th Century wedding inspired by former residents William Blathwayt and Mary Wynter who married at Christmas time in 1686.  There’ll also be a themed festive family trail and local choirs will be singing in the adjoining village church.

The Theatre Chipping Norton
