With panoramic views reaching across into the sunset, you can be forgiven for thinking you’re somewhere abroad as you soak up the holiday sun-downer atmosphere.
Set in a secluded spot adjacent to the Gateway Café, Bar @ Lake 6 is adorned with festoon lighting, beach-style seating and rustic tables – perfect to enjoy a perfect pint, cheeky cocktail or spirit shot. For those designated drivers, there’s a fine selection of low or no-alcoholic options, plus a range of soft drinks too!
For those who are feeling a little peckish, you don’t need to travel far – located a few yards away on the same site, is the infamous Pizzeria 720° serving freshy baked wood-fired 9” or 12” pizzas. Or if you’re visiting before 4pm, then the Gateway Café offers an extensive menu that can be enjoyed inside the barn, on the terrace or as a takeaway option back round at the bar.
During the height of the summer you’ll often find DJ Natty kicking the weekends off with a mix of music at the Bar – every popular with locals and visitors alike, his style of music is sure to get you in the holiday mood.
Open daily from noon throughout the summer months and into the warm autumn days, this family and dog-friendly bar is perfect for the ultimate outdoor experience. It’s always best to check the opening times either on the website or Facebook page before you visit. We do occasionally accommodate private parties and so the Bar area could be closed to the public for this reason.
