Set within 3,000 acres of manicured parkland, Grade II listed Eynsham Hall provides a magical setting for a delicious dinner or afternoon tea. Whether you’re looking for a special supper out or love the idea of a short break with fabulous food, the Brasserie at Eynsham Hall will delight.
A perfect venue needs a perfect menu, and Eynsham’s uncomplicated, unrushed and authentic seasonal food does just the trick for satisfying grumbling tummies. With a wide selection of starters, main courses and puddings, you’ll be spoilt for choice. Chef Kurt Giger and his team source local produce and ingredients as much as possible to create dishes that are both beautiful on the plate and tantalisingly tasty on the palate.
If you can’t wait until dinner afternoon tea at Eynsham Hall is an impressive tower of colourful and flavoursome treats. Will you start at the top with the scones, the middle with the sweet treats or the bottom with the finger sandwiches? Are you a cream first or jam first scone eater? And the only remaining question is whether you’ll eat yours while sipping some celebratory champagne. Afternoon tea is also served in the Brasserie or it can enjoyed on the Champagne Terrace on warmer days. Please book at least 24 hours ahead.
For those staying the night, the accommodation is a mix of boutique Main Hall bedrooms and smaller yet stylish and contemporary lodge rooms in the grounds. The stunning views overlooking the surrounding grounds is the perfect way to wake up before enjoying a mouth-watering three course breakfast bonanza. Living by the motto ‘stately, not stuffy’, each room carries its own eclectic identity, while the beautiful, landscaped gardens provide plentiful opportunities for quiet walks.
