Try morning coffees with our delicious homemade cakes before heading off for a bracing walk up to the Ridgeway with your dog. Then settle in the garden or by the fire for a long leisurely meal prepared by our award-winning kitchen team.
Enjoy the relaxing setting of the bar or cosy dining areas around the pub; for special occasions and get-togethers with family, friends or colleagues you can dine in our private Wessex room or book The Barn which has a vaulted ceiling and in summer, can be opened out on to the garden.
For business meetings or training events we’d be delighted to discuss your requirements to make your event run as smoothly as possible. We can arrange room layouts, AV equipment and of course catering to meet your needs. If you need a bed for the night, we have eight lovely en-suite guest rooms, each individually decorated and furnished with luxurious beds and antique furniture. Tea and coffee, fresh milk and homemade biscuits along with hand-made toiletries and fluffy towels add to your comfort.
