Go with the flow

Kenneth Grahame definitely got it right in Wind in the Willows when he wrote “There is nothing - absolutely nothing - half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats”.

Cotswold Water Park
With 150 lakes spread over 40 square miles, you’re never far from water and spoilt for choice however active or inactive you want to be. There's everything from lazing on the beach to water-skiing; bird watching, fishing, kayaking, wind surfing, zorbing or going crazy on a giant inflatable banana – the choice is yours.

Cotswold Canal Boat Trips
Take to the water with a gentle boat trip on board the Cotswold Canals Trust boats Perseverance and Endeavour. They take place every weekend from 12 noon to 4.30pm and are a great way to escape the summer heat and enjoy messing around on the water!

Tewkesbury River Trips
Explore the beautiful scenery along the Tewkesbury riverside. Why not take the ferryboat service one way, have lunch in the Fleet Inn at Twyning and meander back along the banks of the river to Tewkesbury?  The boat also calls at Croft Farm Water Park.  The service runs Wednesday to Sunday from June to September.

Thames River Trips at Lechlade
In the summer the upper River Thames around Lechlade is an excellent choice for spending time exploring the river. You can hire a small boat and fishing tackle to try your luck at fishing or best of all why not sit back and relax on a river cruise, taking in the views of meadows, flora and historic landscape.
