Enjoy a Snozzcumber Summer!
The much anticipated new blockbuster version of Roald Dahl's classic tale of the BFG is released this week. Why not make a real meal of it with Ellenborough Park's fantastical BFG Afternoon Tea!
The wonderful world of BFG comes to life on a plate: you can tuck into BFG's favourite, the Snozzcumber - a black and white cucumber flavoured sponge; the Dream Catcher Horn, a crunchy brandy snap filled with mascarpone cheese; and Dreams in a Jar - a delicious lemon and raspberry posset with a spiced smoke; Mr Tibbs' famous breakfast has eggs, sausages, bacon and fried potatoes in a hearty quiche; and wash everything down with Frobscottle - a green bubbly drink flavoured with vanilla and raspberry!
Enjoy the BFG Afternoon Tea with a range of cucumber sandwiches, a selection of loose blends from Ellenborough Park's tea chest and perhaps a chilled flute of Billecart-Salmon Champagne! The perfect way to round off an afternoon of childhood memories - pure nostalgia.
BFG Afternoon Teas are available until the 19th August and must be prebooked:
