Come to Fat Squirrel Outdoor Co for Bushcraft, Adventure and Campfire experiences in a relaxed woodland setting.

Experienced instructors at Fat Squirrel make it easy to get your family or group learning new outdoors skills. They will guide you every step of the way as you learn new bush craft skills or try out an adventure activity.

Choose one of our Bushcraft Experiences if you wish to master the art of fire lighting. Being able to manage and understand fire is a useful life skill at any age and our introduction to fire craft is suitable for anyone aged 6 years and over. We will get your group lighting a fire without a match and then you can all sit around it and toast marshmallows to reward your success.

The Campfire Masterclass is more suited to adults and older children over 12 who wish to learn wood chopping skills and how to craft a perfect campfire.

The Adventure Experience includes a choice of Soft Archery (age 4+), Survival Shelter Building (age 6+), Axe Throwing (age 8+) and Rifle Shooting (age 8+) – which can be mixed to match your family or group. An hour’s adventure activity is followed by some basic fire lighting and your visit to the woodland is finished off with some fire gazing and marshmallows.

Our Campfire evenings provide a relaxed and unusual way to socialise outdoors under the trees. Each of our woodland fire shelters has its own campfire for your family or group to sit around, while you are served large real sausage hot dogs in a true outdoor style.
