Fancy trying your hand at the art of Calligraphy with a Christmas twist? Mellor & Rose delighted to be hosting a series of Christmas Calligraphy Workshops at Daylesford Organic in The Cotswolds, Gloucestershire this festive season on Sunday December 11th from 10am – 1pm.

What will we be getting up to?
During our special 3 Hour Workshop, we'll begin by learning the fundamentals of this stylish and elegant art form; how to hold the pen, letter forms, pressure strokes, rhythm etc. We then continue onto the upper and lower alphabets, moving onto words and phrases – this ensures we have a solid technique for us to really get into the Christmas swing of things! After a short break for refreshments, we're back to our Calligraphy in the second half of our themed Workshop, we now take a look at festive design pieces and learn to hand letter our very own Greetings Cards, Gift Tags and Christmas Words along with phrases all in time to create personalised memories for your loved ones – simply lovely! We create our festive pieces using templates, where we then transfer over the designs to Wall Art, Cards, Greetings and Tags etc. Ready made Christmas Stationery! All materials provided during the Workshop are yours to keep and take home - materials such as pen, ink, workbook, stationery items etc. will be enclosed inside a box to easily take home.
