Big Grin Distillery

About

Big Grin Distillery is situated on Upton Downs Farm, in the Oxfordshire Cotswolds, just outside of Burford.

It has been set up by old friends Ben Mills and Archie Ley, who have lived in the Cotswolds all their lives.

We also have a sister restaurant, (The Firehouse), a Farm Shop, (Upton Smokery), and a brewery (Elements Brewery).

Distillery

Here at Big Grin, we are a small batch distillery.  We have a 300 litre still which in a maximum run can produce 350 bottles.

We can do small run batches of 100 bottles and every batch and bottle are numbered separately.

Tastings

Here at Big Grin, we can offer tasting evenings, where you can learn from the distiller himself, Ben. He will take you through the processes with a Gin & Tonic in hand, before tasting a selection of spirits.

We also hold tasting from wine merchants, local breweries and other Distilleries.
