The Cookery School at Daylesford is a unique place of culinary inspiration housed in a beautifully restored stone barn, surrounded by stunning Cotswold countryside and 2350 acres of working farmland from which we source our ingredients.
Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, a course at our Cookery School will equip you with a range of techniques, recipes and principles to help you make the most of delicious seasonal ingredients.
We offer a wide range of full day, half day and evening courses – perfect for any type of cook whether you’re a beginner looking to learn new skills or a confident cook looking for more inspiration, a course with us is a must for anyone who shares our passion for real food.
From classic courses such as Quick & Simple Suppers and Seasonal Dinner Parties, to specialised courses like Artisan Bread Making and Nose to Tail Butchery, you’ll find practical and imaginative courses to suit all interests.
During your time with us, you’ll work with fruit and vegetables straight from our organic Market Garden, celebrated organic cheeses as well as milk, cream and yogurts from our organic Creamery and artisan bread from our own organic Bakery. For our non-vegan or vegetarian courses, we will work with a range of our organic meat including everything from our own venison to our native breeds of lamb and beef. Fish and seafood is always sustainably sourced.
Our Cookery School is located at the very heart of Daylesford farm in the Cotswolds. Since 1975, Daylesford has been one of the most pioneering farms in the UK. We want to lead by example, farming, growing and producing according to sustainable organic principles because we want to care for the land we work. Our connection to the earth is at the heart of everything we do.
