Many think that forest bathing involves water but I promise it doesn’t!
Forest bathing is an evidence based, therapeutic practice, which allows you to reconnect with nature. It helps rebalance both mental and physical wellbeing. It was originally created in Japan in the 1980’s and is known also as Shinrin-yoku.
My forest bathing sessions are two hours spent in various private woodland. We cover just under two miles of gentle walking.
The time is spent re-connecting yourself with nature through sensory-led activities guided by me, along with poetry reading, writing and reflection and involve immersing all your senses into the calming atmosphere of the forest, until you are refreshed and rejuvenated.
It is a really healing natural therapy which is gentle but very effective and if you like calm, nature and the smells and sounds of the forest, you will very much enjoy it.
Come along and recharge your mind and get that much needed dose of Vitamin N(ature).
Home-made cake and mint tea is served at the end of each session.
