About
Experience complete relaxation floating in warm, buoyant water enjoying the blissful peace and quiet of a giant float pod.
Choose to enjoy a massage before or after your hour-long floatation experience in the heart of Gloucestershire’s Forest of Dean.
Strip off – yes, naked is best – and experience blissful peace and quiet of the giant float pod, and complete your experience by curling up on comfy chairs with a cup of organic tea and slice of local, homemade cake.
With lovely local art on the walls, intriguing books on relevant subjects and colouring books to explore your creative side, this is the ultimate in stress relief and relaxation.
After a pre-float orientation and a shower (towels, toiletries, earplugs, products for covering minor cuts and grazes and hairdryers are provided) all you have to do is let go… You don’t even need to bring a swimming costume, as it is fine to do naked, in fact it is recommended.
A spa robe and sandals are provided for guests, too.

Facilities
Language: English only. Guests will need an intermediate level of English to fully appreciate the experience. This is because they need to be able to understand detailed instructions for health and safety.
Parking: There are three parking spaces. Parking is not suitable for larger vehicles.
Accessibility: Float in the Forest is on the ground floor, mostly on a level, with some 1:12 ramps. You must be capable of independently moving around the float centre safely. There is a disabled toilet. One of the float rooms is classed as accessible, which means it is accessed by a ramp rather than a step, it is slightly larger, and hooks and shelves have been installed at a lower height. All float rooms have a wet room-style shower, so there is no step up into the shower. Everyone must shower before and after their float. Getting in and out of the float pod is similar to getting in and out of a bath, so guests must be able to do this unaided, or be accompanied by someone who is qualified and insured to help with this. People with specific health conditions will not be allowed to float. Please see our Terms & Conditions for more details.
Special requirements: Floating can be enjoyed any time of year, whatever the weather, and during the daytime or evening, too.
