We're excited to be running our first Spring courses in the beautiful grounds of Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire this year. We expect to find plenty of foraging treats from all the well established flora here.
We'll be meeting at 12pm for a short introduction on what to look for and a brief of the general countryside codes, where they relate to foragers.
After the talk we'll set off for a 2-3 hour walk identifying the different edible and poisonous Spring shoots, plants, flowers and mushrooms that we find. There will be breaks along the way for some homemade refreshments such as our lovely hogweed and wild garlic soup.
We will finish the day off with a light wild food lunch based on what we have found. This will include some tasty treats made from our recent finds, a wild salad that we will pick on the day and possibly even some wild garlic pesto that we'll make in front of you.
After the walk we will email you details of all the plants and mushrooms we find to help you remember what you have learnt.
This course is all outside so please dress appropriately. There are limited spaces available so please book your tickets online.
