Gloucester Rugby Club

Gloucester Rugby Club, at Kingsholm Stadium, Gloucester is the greatest rugby club in the land - ask anyone from the Cotswolds and they'll confirm this for you.
Founded in 1873 and with its Kingsholm Stadium home situated near the heart of the city, the club enjoys an enviably close relationship with its supporters. Gloucester is a true rugby city, where people proudly walk the streets wearing the famous Cherry and White hoops.
Gloucester has played all of its rugby in the top flight of English club rugby and a recent heritage grant has allowed the club to showcase their rich history along the walls of the stadium. The first ever match to be played at Kingsholm was on the 10th of October 1891 between Gloucester and Burton, which led to a home victory for Gloucester. Telephone 01452 872250.
