Activities

There are a number of activities in the Cotswolds to keep you busy.

The traditional Cotswold activities of walking and cycling are as popular as ever, with many visitors to the Cotswolds coming for the numerous walking and cycling trails surrounded by stunning countryside.

Activities such as cricket and rugby can be participated in, or enjoyed in a more leisurely fashion - spectating with friends. Kingsholm is the home stadium of Gloucester Rugby with a capacity of 16,000 people - once home to England's national team before they settled at Twickenham.

Horse racing is an important pastime in the Cotswolds. The world-famous Cheltenham Festival takes place on the doorstep of the Cotswolds, with an electric atmosphere captivating the whole town right through the week.

Activities in the Cotswolds are not just sporting - see the Cotswolds at your own pace by hiring a classic car and taking in the beautiful scenery - try Cotswold Classic Car Hire.

A great way to learn more about the Cotswolds is to take a cookery course here. You'll learn all about the local produce of the Cotswolds, and hopefully take away some new skills as well.
