About
Cogges Kitchen is a beautifully rustic café located in the old milking parlour at Cogges Manor Farm in Witney. Whether you want breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and cake or simply a good cup of locally roasted coffee, there’s something on the menu for you. They cater for most dietary requirements but do get in touch if you have any questions. The café and farm welcome well-behaved dogs on a short lead.
The seasonal specials are inspired by the delicious fruit, vegetables and herbs harvested from the Cogges walled garden and orchard. The garden has been feeding residents of the manor house for centuries, and now, thanks to volunteers, today’s visitors can also savour the pick of the crop.
In the summer months, visitors particularly enjoy the courtyard with the beautiful 13th manor house as the backdrop. There’s also a toddler play area for younger children to enjoy.
Entry to the cafe is before you arrive at the welcome desk, so visitors are welcome to enjoy Cogges Kitchen café without purchasing a ticket to the farm, or treat themselves after visiting the rest of the site. Well behaved dogs are welcome on a short lead
Next to the café, a small shop sells a variety of gifts and souvenirs to take home, as well as fresh farm eggs and local honey.
Open 7 days a week from 1st March – 1 November, 9am to 4pm then reduced hours during the winter months. Check the website for details.
