Cotswold Walking Breaks
With over 5,000 kilometres of footpaths and rights of way, the Cotswolds is great walking country.
Serious hikers will enjoy the challenge of the Cotswold Way, which runs between Chipping Campden and Bath - over 100 miles of great walking, with incredible views from the Cotswold escarpment and passing through countless picture perfect villages and past famous ancient sites.
For less strenuous walks, most towns and villages have shorter circular routes taking in the pretty stone house and rolling hills that the Cotswolds are famous for.
Several of the Cotswold towns, such as Winchcombe, Dursley and Tetbury, hold annual walking festivals, while the ever friendly Cotswold Voluntary Wardens organise hundreds of guided walks, all most all of them free and with no need to book - a brilliant way to discover the Cotswolds.
