With seven decades of history behind them, W. R. Harvey & Co. (Antiques) Ltd has become the first port of call for many collectors, designers, and visitors. Harvey’s first premises in 1951 were in Chalk Farm, London, where Walter and son David Harvey found their passion for English Antique Furniture dating from Charles II to George IV and provided an unparalleled service to both domestic and international clientele. Over the next decades, the business matured. In the 1980’s the business gained new Mayfair premises in Old Bond Street, Mayfair, where the reputation of W. R. Harvey flourished.
In 1996, Harvey’s moved to Witney where they found a 1730’s charming Georgian Townhouse with 5 spacious showrooms. Harvey’s had arrived in the Cotswolds! Under David’s keen eye and dedication, Harvey’s has adapted and grown in the 21st Century much to the delight of Harvey’s many friends and clients.
