Tetbury is a quintessential Cotswold town with elegant merchant houses, honey-coloured cosy cottages and architectural heritage in abundance, including the iconic Market House in the centre of the town. With Westonbirt arboretum, Chavenage House & HRH Prince Charles’ Highgrove gardens nearby it makes a good base to stay.



Winchcombe

Famous as a centre for walkers with its excellent routes out into the stunning countryside, Winchcombe has a wonderful timeless quality about it, with its Cotswold stone cottages standing side by side with distinctive black and white half-timbered buildings. Make sure you visit Sudeley Castle and the local steam railway too.

Located in the heart of the north Cotswold countryside in the upper reaches of the Windrush valley, Guiting Power has a small village green, with a pub at either end and excellent walking routes into Guiting Wood and over the Cotswold hills. Adam Henson’s Cotswold Farm Park is in easy reach too. 



Snowshill
Snowshill

The charming, unspoilt village of Snowshill has a striking church and a row of much photographed cottages. Opposite is Snowshill Manor, given to the National Trust by its eccentric owner Charles Paget Wade and filled with the spoils of a lifetime of collecting. Nearby Snowshill Lavender Farm beautifully enhances the summer landscape.
