Blenheim Palace Christmas Lights Trail  17 November 2023 to 1 January 2024

Blenheim Palace is a place where new memories are made as a multitude of twinkling lights and seasonal sounds fill the air with festive fun. Firmly positioned as unmissable within the UK’s seasonal calendar, this has everything you need for an unforgettable time with friends and family, including a magical glimpse of Father Christmas along the way. Discover heart-shaped arches glittering in the moonlight, glowing tunnels filled with stars and an 8 metre sphere filled with over 20,000 moving LEDs , just some of the new displays to see this year. You will also see the return of the ever-popular dancing reflections in the colourful Cascades and magical Lakeside walk.

Alongside the lights trail you’ll be able to grab a festive bite in the East Courtyard, experience the story of Sleeping Beauty in the Palace rooms and browse the Christmas Market in the Great Court.

Spectacle of Light  24 November to 30 December 2023

Explore the beautiful new night-time trail around Sudeley Castle’s stunning grounds, marvelling at the majestic trees and romantic ruins all lit under the stars.

New and exciting for 2023 - The Wonderful Wizard of Oz! Follow Dorothy, the Lion, Scarecrow and Tinman as they try to find the Emerald City without encountering the Wicked Witch!

Gaze at the sparkling water features and the mesmerising Garden of Fire. Ziggurats, Light beams, lanterns and much much more. Enjoy the magical sounds as you experience each new secret of this romantic environment.

Enchanted Christmas  24 November to 23 December 2023

Don’t miss Enchanted Christmas at Westonbirt Arboretum, where the magic of the festive season comes to life in spectacular illuminated fashion!

Westonbirt’s captivating landscape and stunningly lit trees create an enchanting world full of wonder and imagination – the perfect place to create cherished memories that will last a lifetime.

Prepare to be dazzled by an enthralling winter wonderland, filled with sparkling lights, festive sounds, and mesmerising installations.

Before and after your trail experience, soak up some more seasonal cheer exploring the traditional fairground rides, food and drink stalls in the Christmas Village.

On Saturday 25 November & Saturday 02 December, 4-5pm, the trail will be adapted to suit those with additional needs, such as autism. For example, strong flashing lights, loud sound effects and smoke effects will be temporarily deactivated. All usual functions will resume ready for the general public to enter the trail at 5pm.

Painswick Rococo Garden is a hidden gem in the Cotswolds. Designed in the eighteenth century as a garden to enthral and delight. This year the attraction is extending its opening hours for a brand-new light trail – The Enchanted Garden By Night. This is a unique opportunity to explore, after-dark, and discover beautiful, fairy-tale willow-sculptures charmingly lit up. As you wander along the Garden's paths, you will be transported to a realm of pure magic, where every corner holds a surprise and every moment a memory.
