About
Get to grips with your camera and capture fantastic images of some of the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley’s most picturesque locations in a four-hour Photography Experience with a professional photographer.
David Broadbent has more than 30 years’ experience of the art, and is a member of the Canon Professional Network, a founding contributor to the RSPB Images picture library, and his travel, food, action and lifestyle images are represented worldwide by the Alamy photographic agency.
During the experience, for a maximum of three people, he will take you through camera settings and the creative process in a fun, easy and jargon-busting session to improve your skill level and make that travel photography really come to life.
After being picked up from your accommodation, which is included, guests will be taken to a nearby location in the Forest of Dean or the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) - expect big skies, historic riverside spots, secret nature reserves, cool forests and unique light conditions.
Practical sessions on camera set up, modes and creative shooting, and mini assignments enable you to practice the techniques for real, enabling you to capture great movement, close-up, landscapes, wildlife and people shots in all situations. Hot drinks and a light meal are included.
After the experience a course handout can be emailed to you and continued online support is offered via the Facebook page too.
Clients can stipulate a start time that suits their creative objectives i.e. dawn, dusk or night time/low light photography on any theme they choose.
Several testimonials are published on the Facebook page and additional testimonials are available.
