We work with our members to ensure that these channels, alongside our others, push consumer content that inspires and excites.

Marketing campaigns and projects

We run a programme of highly-successful marketing campaigns which members can participate in and regularly bid for external funding to support large-scale campaigns and projects. In the past few years we have secured funding for three large-scale projects and campaigns that have enabled us to develop a dedicated travel trade website, experience-led products and national & international marketing to support our members.

 

Industry insight and guidance

By working closely with local, regional, national and international stakeholders, such as local councils, Local Enterprise Partnerships, Visit England and Visit Britain, we are able to pass on valuable insight and information to our members. Through our members’ newsletter and business to business social media accounts we offer regular updates on news, developments and guidance that directly impacts our members.

Have you heard the saying ‘we’re stronger together’? We work with over 450 businesses across the region, meaning our members get to be a part of a diverse and thriving business community. Our member only events offer opportunities to network, as well as hear first hand the latest news and developments for the region.

Lobbying force

We work to raise the profile of the visitor economy, both locally and nationally, and champion the role it plays in the wider economy. Where there are issues affecting businesses or geographic areas in our region we lobby key stakeholders and present a co-ordinated voice to drive change.
