Cotswolds Tourism receives a wide range of media and filming enquiries. We work closely with journalists, influencers, press and media, to help them research, experience and write about the best of the Cotswolds.

We look to prioritise members of Platinum and Gold levels to be given opportunities for inclusion in press familiarisation trips or articles where relevant (subject to availability). With regular journalist requests that have key themed features or specific requirements we offer expert advice putting journalists directly in touch with the places that work best for their article. 

Cotswolds Tourism will be attending TravMedia's showcase press and PR event IMM in March 2023, connecting with journalists, media and influencers. We also regularly liaise with the media teams for VisitEngland & VisitBritain to help highlight members that align with their campaigns, as well as hosting media visits with their overseas offices.

It is worth members noting that often journalists requests have very quick turnaround times, especially for short articles, so do keep a check on your emails or our closed FB group for these opportunities.

Key information for us to know about from all members is what is new in the area. Just drop us a short paragraph letting us know any major openings, development plans or launches, new bookable experiences, tours or trails, sustainability initiatives, or anything else you think is newsworthy. If you have rights-free images and a website link please include these too and email cotswoldstourism@cotswold.gov.uk We will use this information for direct media enquiries, as well as in posts on our LinkedIn page.
