About
Surrounded by glorious Cotswolds’ countryside, the Crown lies at the heart of the beautifully preserved Cotswolds village of Church Enstone, close to Chipping Norton, Blenheim Palace, Bicester Village and Soho Farmhouse.
Just taken over by experienced hospitality operators, Matt and Katie Beamish, who also run acclaimed dining pub with rooms, the Kingham Plough and village dining hub, The Hare at Milton-under-Wychwood, the Crown occupies a beautiful, Cotswold stone building heaving with old-world charm and finished with contemporary comforts to create a relaxing, country style.
Passionate about creating stunning seasonal menus of fantastic modern British dishes and re-imagined pub classics, whilst championing the very best fresh, local produce available, the Beamish’s have also updated and improved the Crown’s drinks offering.
Behind its flagstoned bar with log fireplace, there’s a newly curated wine list, weekly changing local and guest ales and artisanal soft drinks.
Outside, a secluded walled garden and upstairs, five stunning and very comfortable double/twin bedrooms all with incredible en-suite bathrooms finished in bold, contemporary style and some with free-standing, rolltop baths.
