Make sure to squeeze in some time for shopping when you visit the Oxfordshire Cotswolds, each of its bustling market towns has its own character and high streets free from the mundane uniformity of so many larger towns. Burford, Chipping Norton, Witney and Woodstock all have a great variety of independent, specialist shops and the area in general has a well-earned reputation for art & antiques, for its local produce and for its crafts & gifts.

Witney, the largest of the Oxfordshire Cotswolds towns, has two shopping centres - the Woolgate and Marriotts Walk - and Bicester Village, home to over 150 designer outlet boutiques, is only a few miles away.
