There are three levels of Cotswolds Tourism membership with different benefits:

• Gold: £425 (+VAT)
• Platinum: £1,000 (+VAT)

Entry level

Cotswolds.com Website

Feature your business on the Cotswolds Tourism website including:

• Contact details and link to your own website
• Upto 6 images
• Description of your business
• Live feeds from your own social media channels (Facebook and Twitter)
• Location map of your business and reciprocal inclusion in 'What's Nearby' feature showing other businesses nearby
• Intranet access allowing you to track how many times your record has been viewed, clicks to your website and giving you the ability to make changes to your entry.

Networking, Partnership and Support

• Invitations to member networking events
• Access to tourism facts and figures about the area on Cotswolds.com
• Regular updates about Cotswolds Tourism activities and regional and national issues relevant to your business
• Ability to share tourism intelligence and research through TStats.

Marketing

• Option to use the Cotswolds Tourism brand in your on and offline marketing (in accordance with the official agreed brand guidelines)
• Opportunities to buy into additional marketing campaigns and activity including annual and one off publications.

All these benefits for only £199 (+VAT) per year

Gold Level

As well as all the benefits outlined above, Gold members are given higher priority on the Cotswolds.com website and are the opportunity for active promotion on Cotswolds Tourism's very successful social media channels and in our consumer e-newsletters. Gold membership is only £425 (+VAT) per year and (as well as the Entry level features listed about) offers the following additional benefits:

• Priority search ranking above all Entry Level members
• Enhanced listing with additional images (up to 12) and extra text
• Inclusion of your own YouTube video on your web entry
• Enhanced promotion on the web site (e.g. appearance in Featured Items) and relevant campaign pages
• An additional complimentary (entry level) listing if applicable/relevant - e.g. an accommodation provider with a restaurant could have a secondary listing for their restaurant 

Marketing and PR

• Inclusion in Cotswolds Tourism social media campaigns (where applicable) and active promotion on Cotswolds social media channels
• Opportunity to contribute to our press and PR communications
• Opportunity for inclusion in press and travel trade familiarisation trips (where relevant and subject to availability)
• Opportunity for wider promotion through Cotswolds Tourism with VisitEngland and VisitBritain

Travel Trade

• Opportunity to feature in sample travel trade itineraries (where relevant) and other proactive promotion of the region to our partners
• Opportunities to stand share or be represented at trade shows on a pay as you go basis

Platinum Level

In addition to all the benefits outlined by taking a Platinum Level membership your business can take advantage of the following:-

Additional benefits on the Cotswolds.com website

• Priority search ranking (above all Gold and Entry level members)
• Multiple additional (Gold Level) listings on the website promoting different, relevant areas of your business 
• Additional images and copy on your web listing
• Priority visibility and promotion throughout the website - e.g. featuring in the Don't Miss boxes at the top of relevant pages
• Complimentary banner advertising on relevant pages of the website

Marketing and Strategy

• The opportunity for regular meetings with Cotswolds Tourism staff to see how we can best help promote your business
• Opportunities for involvement in discussions on marketing plans and strategy
• Priority inclusion, wherever possible, in newsletters, e-newsletters, blogs and social media campaigns

Press and PR

• Priority inclusion in press releases (where relevant)

Travel Trade

• Priority inclusion in sample itineraries (where relevant) and other pro-active promotion of the region to our travel trade partners
• The opportuntiy to be involved in the international aspects of our activity
• Priority inclusion in our travel trade e-newletters
• Priority opportunities to stand share or be represented at trade shows on a pay as you go basis.

Other Partnership Rates

Not all businesses fit neatly in to the above pricing structure and some of the common exceptions are listed below but if you have any queries then please contact our Partnership Manager susie.hunt@cotswold.gov.uk

Businesses with multiple properties
There is no discount on multiple Entry or Platinum level membership but for multiple Gold membership there is a cumulative 10% discount for each entry (i.e. 10%  off first entry, 20% off second, etc). Each membership is treated as Gold level.  

Self-catering agencies
Membership is charged and considered as Gold Level (£500 + VAT) which gives you a listing for the agency (not individual properties) and a choice of 2 geographical locations for the agency to appear in searches.  If you are a national agency you need to create a Cotswolds landing page for the link.

Free to enter attractions:
Entry level costs  £99 + VAT a year, Gold level costs £220 + VAT a year. 

Eating out, shopping and events memberships:
While we work to increase the content on the food and drink, shopping and what's on areas of our website, we are offering businesses in these categories the same prices as free to enter attractions (e.g. Entry level at £99+VAT and Gold level at £220+VAT). 

Associate membership:
For Cotswolds-based businesses which don’t fall into the above categories but who wish to be in membership with Cotswolds Tourism and associated with our brand, an Associate membership is available at £250 + VAT a year. For this you’ll receive a smaller size banner ad on our website (randomly showing with other associate members), member updates, monthly snapshots outlining the web, social media and newsletter statistics for the previous month, invites to our networking events and the opportunity to contribute to consumer enewsletters (where appropriate and at our discretion). Cotswolds Tourism reserves the right to refuse membership to any business it deems unsuitable for membership.

Marketing Cheltenham:
Cotswolds Tourism works closely with Marketing Cheltenham and if your business falls outside the Cheltenham Borough Council boundary, but you’d also like to promote yourself with them, you can do so for an extra £200 +VAT a year.  To discover more about the benefits of  Marketing Cheltenham membership, please visit https://marketingcheltenham.co.uk/
