About
Discover a slow and mindful approach to the art of photography in the beautiful natural surroundings of Rodborough Common, overlooking the Stroud Five Valleys and the Severn Vale towards Wales.
Slow down, take a fresh look at the world around you and learn to see the extraordinary in the ordinary, while taking time out for you, reducing stress and improving your wellbeing.
In a small group you’ll spend time in nature, slowly and quietly exploring certain themes that encourage creativity and insight, including colour, texture, form, light and reflection.
Your walk starts with a meander around a beautiful circle of trees learning to look and see with new eyes, before exploring stunning Rodborough Common looking at details and the bigger picture, creating photos in a calm and mindful way. This simple, low-tech and fun ‘WalkShop’ helps you consider your relationship with the natural and built environment and learn to see the world differently.
You don’t need a fancy camera or expensive equipment – any mobile phone, tablet or digital camera will do – and sessions are suitable for all ages and abilities.
