About
One of The Cotswolds’ most photographed and fashionable pubs – The Swan at Southrop has recently re-opened, thanks to brother and sister team, Charlie and Milly Hibbert.
The glamourous new look has been designed by Milly, includes sibling brand Bertioli’s patterns of nature, and a mouth-watering menu devised by Charlie.
There is something for everyone at this pub: a bar for merry making and light pub bites; dining room serving a diverse menu of pub classics and seasonal vegetarian and vegan favourites; snug hosting up to 10-12 for a cosy meal; the carousal for lounging – complete with bar, large tables and TVs (capacity 32 feasting; 45 standing for private hire); walled garden complete with pop-up bar in the summer; and benches and picnic tables out front and on the green for whiling away the afternoon, when the weather permits.
Open from Wednesday to Sunday for lunch and Wednesday to Saturday for dinner, The Swan serves delicious local beers, and wines and ales on tap, and a seasonal menu, overseen by Thyme’s culinary helmsman Charlie Hibbert.
Thyme’s kitchen gardens provide Charlie and his team with plenty of delicious seasonal fruit and veg, and meat, fish, cheese and the rest will be sourced from ethically-conscientious suppliers, in keeping with the way they do things at Thyme.
