'fairfax thomson interiors' is a relative newcomer to the shopping scene in Cirencester. It is a family-owned and run business headed by Graham and Candida Thomson who have recently returned home to the Cotswolds after 10 years living and working in France in the heart of the Burgundy wine producing area where they had a multi award winning interiors business.
'fairfax thomson interiors' is a lovely interiors shop combined with a full service interior design business in the heart of the town adjacent to St John’s Church, at 7 Gosditch Street.
“We pride ourselves on seeking out beautiful things which are not available everywhere and we have many inspiring and desirable items which will add a fabulous “je ne sais quoi” and touch of ‘French chic’ to your homes.
We are delighted that this season we will be collaborating with the renowned sculptor Paul Day, who is well known for ‘The Meeting Place’ statue at St Pancras Station and also for the Battle of Britain Memorial. We will have scale versions of some of his fabulous pieces available to purchase.
You will find lovely decorative objets; a wide choice of lighting and lamps in a variety of finishes including silver and crystal; luxurious throws in softest lambswool, mohair, alpaca and cashmere; scented candles and diffusers; and lovely gift ideas. We also have a selection of framed original sepia photos of an historic French chateau which are exclusive to us.
In addition to the interiors shop we have our design studio where we showcase fabrics, wallpapers, passementerie, rugs and soft furnishings from prestigious English and French brands. If you have a project in mind please do come and talk to us – we undertake interior design projects for clients locally and all over the country and in Europe.”
