Join the team at the award-winning Cotswolds Distillery for a tour & tasting or one of their hands-on masterclasses.
Tour & Tastings
The tour begins with a short video which highlights the Cotswolds Distillery story and traditional production methods. Shortly after, we’ll take you around the distillery’s production areas and warehouses whilst giving you a detailed account of how we craft our award-winning spirits, where you’ll be able to see (and smell!) the processes in action. At the end of the tour, you'll get to sample our range of spirits and liqueurs.
Gin Blending Masterclass
Discover the secrets of creating your own gin in this brand new Gin Blending Masterclass. Famed for their award-winning creations, you’ll be welcomed with a Cotswolds Cloudy gin and tonic followed by a guided tour of the distillery before the real blending fun begins! Using the skills of distillery staff you’ll create a personalised gin using a mix of botanicals and, after enjoying your own martini, you can take the rest of your creation home with you.
Join the Cotswolds Distillery for a Whisky Masterclass, where you’ll be able to blend your very own whisky! After you’ve enjoyed a Highball whisky cocktail on arrival, we’ll talk you through the history of whisky and take you on a guided tour around the distillery. The team will then help you blend your own whisky, before shaking things up a little by making a bespoke whisky cocktail.
Your whisky will be bottled up for you to take home with you, as well as two 20cl bottles of our Single Malt Whisky, so that you can enjoy a dram with family and friends when you get home.
Get mixing and muddling with cocktail connoisseur, Ollie, for our Cotswolds Distillery cocktail experience where you’ll be hands-on cocktail creating and learning the tricks of the trade from our expert mixologist.
After enjoying one of our Cloudy G&Ts on arrival and learning all about our founder’s dream and how our distillery came to be, we’ll explain how we craft our Cotswolds Dry Gin followed by a tasting of our award-winning gin.
Then it’s time to get shaking! Ollie will show you how to create some delicious cocktails so you can impress friends & family at home with your skills, and, of course, he’ll make a few up for you to taste. To finish the evening, you’ll get the chance to sample some distillery exclusive products and mix up another cocktail using a selection of seasonal ingredients available.
Before you head home, we’ll give you a mini takeaway goody bag, so you won’t be going home empty-handed!
Nestled in the Warwickshire countryside, the Cotswolds Distillery is the first and only full-scale distillery within the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Using the best local ingredients, they craft world-class spirits and liqueurs including the award-winning Cotswolds Single Malt Whisky and Cotswolds Dry Gin.
Life at the distillery is firmly rooted in the beautiful Cotswolds surroundings; 100% of the barley used to make the whisky has been grown at neighbouring farms, and the lavender used to make their Cotswolds Dry Gin is locally grown at Snowshill Lavender Farm.
The beautiful and charming Visitor Centre, made with traditional Cotswolds honey-coloured stone, is open seven days a week and includes a shop stocked with the distillery's range of Outstanding Natural Spirits and a café which offers a delicious and carefully crafted menu using locally sourced ingredients.
