The Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen is dedicated to promoting contemporary designer-makers and was developed out of the vibrant Arts and Crafts Movement in the Cotswolds at the turn of the 20th century.
Guild members are all professional makers, dependent on sales for the support of their practices.
They are amongst the top craftspeople in the UK working across many disciplines including ceramics, glass, woodwork, textiles and jewellery, creating unique functional and decorative objects.
Guild members’ work can be bought at the shop Glos Guild Crafts at Chapel Arts in Cheltenham.
The Guild organises various design and craft events including Crafts Alive at Rodmarton Manor (https://guildcrafts.org.uk/crafts-alive-at-rodmarton-manor/ ) every September.
