Our restaurant serves simple, rustic food that showcases the best of the British countryside. Using local farmers and producers wherever possible, we know our ingredients are the best they can be. And with roaring fires, beautiful gardens, and a private dining room for up to 20 guests, our 17th century coaching inn is the ideal place to feast with friends and family.

Home of the best Sunday lunch in the Cotswolds
With roaring fires in winter, shady gardens in summer, and a restaurant serving the finest seasonal fare, The Wheatsheaf Inn is the perfect place to spend a restful Sunday afternoon.

Our Sunday roasts feature locally reared meats, including sirloin of Hereford beef, Kelmscott pork and Castlemead chicken, and all your favourite trimmings. Coming with a crowd? Opt for one of our sharing roasts with family-sized portions of meat, roasted roots, seasonal greens, cauliflower cheese, and Yorkshire puddings.

Or, if you're in the mood for something a little less hearty, you'll always find a selection of seasonal seafood, game, and vegetarian dishes on our a la carte menu.

With beautiful tiered flower beds, perfumed planters, and plenty of parasols, there's no better place to while away a sunny afternoon.

Tuck into vibrant, summery salads, freshly grilled seafood, and succulent dry aged steaks. Order a chilled bottle of rosé, local Cotswold cider, or ask us to mix up a pitcher of Pimm's. Or, wrap yourself in one of our blankets for post-dinner drinks under the stars.

The Poker Room & The Gun Room
With gorgeous gardens, delicious food, and two beautiful private dining rooms to boot, there's no better place to get together and celebrate with friends and family.

Our Gun Room can accommodate 20 guests, making it the ideal choice for family suppers, shoot parties, or large celebrations, while the Poker Room, which comfortably seats up to six, is perfect for smaller, more intimate gatherings.
