We believe you’ve come to stay with us not to be bothered by staff fussing around you, or because you have the budget for a top class country house hotel, you’re here for the flexibility and because we represent good value for money in a great location in the Heart of the Cotswolds.

We have 15 self-catering apartments adapted from a hotel, so the apartments are all sorts of shapes and the rates reflect the sizes and layout. 

We get repeat guests a lot, including for our wheelchair adapted apartment, we have 6 ground floor apartments in all.

We don't have a reception desk, but are available 24/7. You'll get a 4 digit pin by email the day before arrival, all very easy.

Comfortable beds, good showers, free parking and wifi, easy access, bike storage, dogs (well behaved) welcome in 5 of the 15 apartments, so please call or email for availability on those dates.

Stroud is a great place from which to tour the area, go walking, ride a bike, art classes (or many others), fabulous cafes and places to eat, charming pubs, live music, open studio weekends and festivals (the Stroud Book Festival is usually in November for instance).

Learn to glide, play golf, ride a horse, walk an alpaca.... Stand up paddle board. Afternoon teas to die for. Vineyard or brewery tour anyone? We can help you plan.

In fact it’s easy to go to Gloucester to hunt down Harry Potter filming locations such as the stunning cathedral. Explore Berkeley Castle, a microcosm of English history over 900 years, or Visit the inspirational Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust at Slimbridge.

If you really want to spread your wings then it’s not that far to Bath or Bristol, both are a great day trip.
