Originally an old Malthouse, the thoughtfully refurbished Feathered Nest offers stylish interiors paired with a cosy, warm atmosphere.
Sitting in a glorious position overlooking the Evenlode Valley, the far-reaching views can be enjoyed throughout the Inn, particularly from the glass fronted Garden Room restaurant, and the spacious covered outdoor terrace. The Nest also serves as a convenient base from which to explore the charming local villages as well as the rural surroundings.
Hospitality here is attentive & warm, with an experienced foh team and award-winning Head Chef running the kitchen. Matt Weedon offers innovative, modern fine dining using the best quality, seasonal produce, with dishes changing regularly to reflect this. Menu options range from bar snacks to A la Carte to the 6-course Tasting Menu, and vegetarians are well catered for.
The experienced bar team offer a wide range of cocktails and extensive knowledge of the impressively large wine list. It’s no surprise the inn holds numerous accolades from AA, Michelin & Good Hotel Guide, and if you time your visit right you may just spot a celebrity tucked away in a corner.
