About
Wychwood Wild Garden is a beautiful woodland and garden, close to the centre of Shipton under Wychwood.
Wychwood Wild Garden covers 12.5 acres of avenues, woods and ponds, much of which was laid out in the 1860s, and provides a haven for wildlife including many breeds of ducks and birds. It is owned and managed by the local community and offered as a place of peace and tranquillity to local residents, guests and visitors to the area.
The garden is open at all times to visitors and dogs are welcome but please keep them on a lead at all times.
The main entrance is on the A361 opposite Shipton Court, however there is no parking here. Alternatively, park in Dog Kennel Lane, walk down the lane a short distance and use the rear gate to access the Garden.
After your walk around the garden, why not visit one of the pubs in Shipton to relax, The Lamb in the Upper High Street, the Shaven Crown by the village green or The Wychwood by the New Beaconsfield Hall.
